About Us
Animal Care Association Pakistan (ACAP) is an organization that was pioneered by a group of animal rights activists who realized the need for such an organization in a country like Pakistan. With a plethora of problems plaguing us, nobody realizes the need for institutions that cater to advancing animal rights. When this issue is set against the political, financial and legal context, animal rights, or rather the entire concept of humanity, seem to sink into oblivion. Animal abuse and mistreatment is so common, in fact, that it does not strike the present generations as an issue. This ideology has been embedded into generations of people and thus bringing a visible change will require efforts from the grassroots of our society. ACAP stands as a reminder of the fact that the violation of animal rights is important and that it is of paramount importance to work towards improving their situation.

The ACAP (Animal Care Association of Pakistan) is registered under the society registration act 1860.
Founded in 2011, the Society aims to prevent cruelty and promote kindness to animals on a national scale. The ACAP is a charity that has grown into an organization with more than 1500+ volunteers divided into teams in different cities as well as specialized volunteer veterinarians.
