Kitten Season
What is Kitten Season?
Kitten season is the time of the year (around spring and summer) when cats give birth. This leads to a flood of homeless litters across the nation.
Kittens are cute! how is this a bad thing?
No doubt that kittens are probably the most cutest things, however, the large increase in population means that there are not enough home for the kittens. These kittens are homeless and often end up dying as a result of various factors like not having food, killed by other animals, killed by human vehicles etc. These kittens, if rescued, have a chance at life however if they are not adopted in time, the become adults and the desirability drops.
Kitten Season is a result of not spaying or neutering cats. This may as well be a very controversial topic but at the same time, it helps save many lives.
How can you help?
There are multiple ways you can help during Kitten Season
